We can’t root out the bad apples
Police chief Steven stepped onto the platform set just in front of the city hall facing a sea of people and reporters. He tapped his left pocket, stucked away inside was his resignation letter, he is just making sure it still there. He is not sure his career will survive the storm after his speech, he will do what is best for the department.

The police union plays a major role also in protecting these officers.
Implicit bias towards mostly black male by white police officers as threatening which triggers their sense of fear. There are evidence of police officers being trained more to use fire arms than methods of de-escalation to total lack of adequate training in policing which is very odd for a set of people given the powers to take life. Police shortage across the country is a contributing factor laspe in strict recruiting standards, no thanks the image of the police now. Could these unfair rules and circumstances be what they mean when they say the system is designed to be biased against people of color.
Chief Steven wrapped up his speech and decended the platform...has had begged the protesters to go home...he avoided the question on defending the police. He knew he won't be the chief when it all happens all over again. He also knew he just protected a bad apple making also a bad apple.
